4x4, Chauffeur, Emergency Response training, Security driving, VIP high profile and Female security/safety courses.
Aimed At:
Drivers employed to carry out more specialist driving duties and individuals that feel at risk.
Location:
Any location, your office, airfield or proving ground, or a local hotel etc.
Duration:
1 - 5 days for initial training depending on objectives.
1 - 3 days for refresher training depending on objectives and previous training.
Driver/Trainer Ratio
1:1 or 2:1depending on requirements and number of seats available in the vehicle.
Aims:
To provide more specialists training in the vehicle the driver will be using on a regular basis.
Objectives:
At the end of the session the driver will:
- Drive in a competent and progressive manner.
- Be able to carry out the driving duties in a safe and competent manner.
- To have a good understanding of the capabilities of the vehicle and to show a knowledge of vehicle sympathy and car control.
- Showing an advanced level of awareness and anticipation of other road users to ensure a proficient drive.
- Have an in depth understanding of the vehicles passive and active safety systems.
- Have a good understanding of car control and skid correction techniques.
Method:
By the use of theory, on and off road sessions, the driver training programme will be bespoke and will focus on the needs and requirements of the driver. Xcel's driving consultants are discreet in the delivery of all their driving courses.
